An oil filled recloser was replaced by a 15kV OSM-204 recloser based on
vacuum circuit breakers on a 13.8kV line which is subjected higher lighting
strikes.
Tavrida's engineers assisted the line crew in commissioning and training.
The light weight of the recloser and the user friendly RC-05 control made
commissioning straight forward.
Temperatures can vary between -40C and +40C so reliability is of importance.
