Through intense research and development based on the success of its ISM and OSM series, Tavrida proudly presents a circuit breaker with integrated voltage and current sensors and can fit into the most compact of spaces whether indoor or outdoor. Weather-proof housing is not required. This ground-breaking circuit breaker renders GIS obsolete!

The TEL-SMART38 features include:

TEL-SMART38-R

The TEL-SMART38-R (1200A, 16kA) has the ability to communicate with and enhance any utility requirements with its ultra compact, light-weight and intelligent features. It is controlled by the RC-09E Control Module.

The SMART38 can be pole mounted in recloser, breaker or sectionalizer configurations. In the standard configuration, the design is built for the ANSI standard 150kV BIL. For areas prone to more severe lightning activity, optional extensions increase the BIL range to 190kV, while still retaining the full 1200A / 16kA rating.
